Cookie Policy
This policy explains how the Overflow Online website uses cookies and similar browser storage, and how you can control them.
On this page
This Cookie Policy works alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information more broadly.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. "Similar technologies" includes browser local and session storage. They help websites work, remember preferences and understand how they are used.
This website is built to be light on tracking. We use only what is needed to make the site work and to remember sensible preferences; we do not load advertising trackers.
2. How we use them
We use cookies and browser storage to keep the site functioning (for example to keep forms working and remember the live contact details the site uses), and to remember basic context such as how you arrived. We do not currently run third-party analytics or advertising cookies.
3. Cookies & storage we use
| Type | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Essential / functional | Remember session preferences and the live contact details the site uses, and keep forms working. A small amount of data is stored in your browser (local/session storage) for these purposes. |
| Lead source | Remembers how you arrived (for example a referral or campaign link) so we can respond in context. |
| Embedded content | The map on our contact page is served by a third party that may set its own cookies when it loads. |
4. Third-party content
Some pages include content from other services — for example the map on our contact page and the WhatsApp/enquiry flow. These providers may set their own cookies when their content loads or when you interact with them, governed by their own policies.
5. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies and clear browser storage in your browser settings. Most browsers let you refuse or remove cookies and warn you before they are set. Blocking essential storage may stop some features (such as the forms) from working correctly.
If we add non-essential cookies (such as analytics) in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.
6. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows the current version.
